Workshop Makes

Here’s a glimpse of what young people have created during their time at Wild Art Workshop. Each project reflects unique ideas, interests and imaginations. Whether it’s a one-off burst of inspiration or something built slowly over time, every piece you see here began with a spark of curiosity. These projects aren’t about perfection; they’re about quiet creativity, exploration and finding the joy in making.

  • Moss & Ember

Made using log slices, moss and found twigs, this tiny campsite was imagined and built over two sessions - a peaceful woodland rest stop for fairies.

  • Leaf & Light

Watercolour and gold leaf - a striking piece that started with a moment of stillness and turned into something full of sparkle.

  • Wool & Wood

This god’s eye weaving was made by wrapping soft wool around found sticks. A rhythmic, grounding process that bought colour and calm into the session.

  • Thread & Tie

Made by knotting torn strips of fabric and ribbon onto a circular frame. Each piece was tied with focus, creating something soft, layered and completely unique.

  • Colour & Pause

Sometimes, a quiet moment with familiar images and paint pens is all that’s needed. This anime colouring was chosen and on that particular day, it was more than enough.

  • Stage & Star

This fairy house was inspired by a trip to see Hamilton, the musical - complete with a tiny stage, microphone and speakers and a joyful blend of music, magic and imagination.
