Trust and Care

I know that you’re placing a lot of trust in me when your child or young person joins a session - and I take that seriously.

I understand that many families come to Wild Art Workshop after difficult experiences with school, services and burnout. I aim to offer something different: a space that feels safe, respectful and truly led by the young person.

Here you’ll find information about my professional training, safeguarding practices and supportive approach.

  • I’m a qualified teacher with experience in both mainstream and private education settings, and I’m also a parent of two autistic, ADHD teenagers. My personal and professional life has given me a deep understanding of the challenges some young people face in traditional systems — and the importance of being seen, heard, and supported in ways that truly fit. Wild Art Workshop is shaped by that lived experience, as well as years of working creatively and compassionately with young people.

  • At the heart of my approach is deep respect for each young person as an individual. I believe in following their interests, moving at their pace, and creating a space where they can feel calm, capable, and free to express themselves — without pressure or judgement. I value curiosity, kindness, and creativity, and I aim to build trusting relationships that support confidence and self-worth over time. Every session is shaped not just by what we make, but by how we connect.
