FAQs

Here are some of the questions I’m often asked about Wild Art Workshop - from who the sessions are for to what they involve and how to get started. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, please feel free to get in touch - I’m always happy to help.

  • Sessions are designed for school -age children and young people up to 25. I welcome everyone, especially those with EHCP’s or struggling in mainstream education. Whether they need a creative outlet, mentoring support, or just a different kind of space to grow, I tailor each session to meet their individual needs.

  • Each session is led by the young person — they choose what they’d like to do from hundreds of accessible, creative materials. They’re free to explore at their own pace, whether that’s building a fairy house, weaving, painting, working with clay, or something entirely different. I’m always there to offer ideas, guidance, and gentle support as and when they need it. The focus is on freedom, creativity, and building confidence in a calm, nature-inspired setting.

  • There’s no fixed number — some young people come for a one-off session, while others attend weekly for a year or more. It really depends on what your child needs and enjoys. As long as they’re finding it helpful and I have space available, they’re welcome to keep coming for as long as it feels right.

  • 1:1 Wild Art Workshop sessions cost £75 per hour.

    This includes:

    • Access to a fully resourced creative space on a peaceful farm

    • Bespoke, child-led activities using high quality materials

    • Guidance and support from a qualified and experienced practitioner

    • Time spent preparing, reflecting and communicating with parents and professionals to support your child’s development

Introductory taster sessions can be booked at £35 for 45 minutes.

I know that not every family can afford the full cost, so I offer a small number of reduced-rate places. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch - I’m happy to have a conversation.

Please note, for children or young people with EHCPs, Annual Review input (report, preparation and meeting attendance) costs £200.

  • Please get in touch via email (claire@wildartworkshop) and we’ll arrange a free 20 minute phone or Zoom call to see if what I offer is the right fit for your child.

You’re also welcome to arrange to come and meet me at the workshop for a no obligation chat.

  • Sessions are held in my cosy, well-equipped workshop on a peaceful farm. It’s a calm, welcoming space surrounded by nature — perfect for creative exploration and gentle support away from the pressures of school or busy environments.

More specifically, Wild Art Workshop is located in the Old Dairy Buildings at Prescote Manor Farm.
